When scanning doesn't work

You see Camera access is off when Cashfinity isn’t allowed to use the camera. Tap Allow camera access. If nothing happens, you declined earlier and need to turn it back on:

  • iPhone (Safari): open the iPhone Settings app → Safari (on newer iOS versions: Apps → Safari) → Camera, and choose Allow or Ask. Then reload Cashfinity.
  • Android (Chrome): tap the icon left of the address bar → Permissions → turn on Camera.
  • Cashfinity app from the home screen: the same browser settings apply.

If you can’t use the camera at all, type the receipt ID instead.

Scanning not available means the device or browser can’t access a camera for QR codes. Try an up-to-date Safari or Chrome on your phone, or type the receipt ID by hand.

  • Use good light and avoid glare on glossy paper.
  • Flatten the receipt and fill most of the frame with the QR code.
  • Hold steady for a second or two.

Receipt not found yet means the Financial Administration hasn’t published the receipt yet. This can happen right after you pay. Wait a little and tap Try again.

eKasa unavailable means the Financial Administration’s receipt service is temporarily down. Nothing is wrong with your receipt. Try again later.

Already scanned means this receipt is already in your workspace, so nothing was added. Find it in Transactions.
